Our Journey

From one feeling to a hostel community people remember.

Hammock Hostels wasn’t born out of a snap decision. It began as a feeling of connection, warmth, and belonging — and that feeling still shapes every stay we create today.

About Hammock Hostels

When Priyanka Entered the Picture

That’s when our second co-founder, Priyanka, entered the picture. What started as a brief webinar interaction slowly turned into coffee catchups, long conversations about travel, culture and community, and eventually the buried idea found its way back to life.

The Leap of Faith

Apurva convinced Priyanka to move back to India from Australia and take a leap of faith together. And that leap became Hammock Hostels.

Where We Are Today

Today, with two hostels and many more to come, our vision remains simple — to create more than just accommodation. We want to build spaces that bring people together through shared experiences, meaningful connections and unforgettable memories.

What truly matters

Yes, we provide clean, safe and comfortable hostels — but to us, that is simply the bare minimum.
What truly matters is the feeling you leave with.

The moments that define Hammock

The people you meet, the stories exchanged over chai, the rooftop conversations, the walking tours, the laughter shared with strangers who become friends — these are the moments that define Hammock.

Our promise to every guest

We want every guest to experience the warmth of Indian hospitality, the joy of human connection and the magic of travel in a way they’ll remember long after they leave our doors.
